My Instamic doesn't turn on anymore | How to fix it Print

If your Instamic doesn't turn on, the firmware got compromised or it is missing.

Let's follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press and hold the Instamic button for more than 16 secs, then release.

2. Download the latest firmware upgrade app (2.8.2 on Mac, 2.7.0 on Windows) attached to these articles (Instamic Pro and Basic | Firmware upgrade or Instamic Pro Plus and Plus C | Firmware Upgrade)

3. Disconnect any USB devices connected to your computer (other than the keyboard and mouse if they are external)

4. Wait until the firmware version appears under the app's title.

5. Connect Instamic using the USB cable provided and wait until Instamic boots up again.

If nothing happens after 3 minutes, disconnect Instamic, wait 12 hrs, and redo the process.
