Some Android devices are not able to remote control the device using the Instamic Remote application after a firmware upgrade.

Even if it is still possible to connect to Instamic via the app, it is not possible to trigger record, change settings and read the firmware version.

SOLUTION

Make sure to un-pair and re-pair the device under the Android's Bluetooth Settings and you will be able to take control of your Instamic again.
