New Firmware Release 1.2.95

- Improved internal memory writing/reading to reduce drifting and potential drop-outs

- Time reference support from mobile phone to Instamic for better syncing

- Improved Timecode reading from Tentacle Sync E

- Wireless formatting command support

- More accurate battery reading on old units affected by battery aging

Additional fixes as been done to improve the overall stability.

Make sure to upgrade your Instamic Pro using the latest Firmware Upgrade Tool 2.7 (attached to this article)

I have the same problem with this upgrade. Neither of my mics work with the app since this upgrade (Android), on 2 phones. Trying a 3rd phone (iOS) and hoping it will fix things or I will have to record blindly if the 3rd phone doesn't work because I can wait hours to try a hard reset as I'm in the middle of making a video that I need done today.

How do I update the firmware for Instamic pro? I don’t have laptop, I use ipad and iphone.

Hi,

Unfortunately the only way to upgrade your unit is via PC or Mac.

We have been working on Over-the-air updates from the app but it is not possible.

With the latest iOS Instamic Remote Update, we are supporting all firmware though.
